The Employee Express system is provided by the federal government to eligible government employees to allow them to manage their personal payroll information. You can log into your account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to make changes to your information. The changes may or may not be reflected instantaneously and in some instance, may take up to 2 weeks to be processed through to payroll. You can change your information concerning your address and contact phone number, email, deductions and allowances.

You can also review a history of your payroll information; download summaries for tax and accounting purposes and view informational files about retirement and savings options. In order to log in, you must have already been issued your ID and password, or you can use your PIV card in a scanner attached via USB to your computer. Steps using Login ID and password:

  1. Copy and paste the following URL into your browser or if your system allows, click the link we have provided here: www.employeeexpress.gov
  2. Enter your Employee Express Login ID
  3. Enter your password
  4. Click “Login”
  5. Click on “Profile”
  6. Change information
  7. Select “Save”

Steps using PIV card:

  1. Copy and paste the following URL into your browser or if your system allows, click the link we have provided here: www.employeeexpress.gov
  2. Insert your PIV smartcard into the reader attached to your computer
  3. Click on the “Login Using PIV Smartcard button”
  4. Wait for the card to be read and authorized before clicking “OK”
  5. Click on “Profile”
  6. Change information
  7. Select “Save”
